November challenge and winners too :)

Hello everybody and Happy November !!  Well Autumn/Winter seems to have arrived very quickly here in the Midlands in the UK.  It has been so wet and is also rather chilly - still it's great weather for crafting especially as the nights are already so  dark so early!

 

I would just like to say thank you again to all those who were so kind to me over the loss of my dog William, it really means alot when people are so lovely to you even though we have never met in the 'real' world!  On that note I thought you might like to see the new arrival to our family;

 

 

 

This is Bertie - he is an Irish Setter and is now 9 weeks old.  He is in no way a replacement for William but he is helping the healing.

 

Anyway, back to craft and the winners of the September challenge.

October challenge

Hello everyone - well I am here just running a little late (as usual!!).

First of all can I say thank you to everyone who entered September's challenge, all 200 of you, even though we only had half of the month due to my delay in setting the challenge!  And on that note, thank you to everyone who sent kind messages about the loss of my beautiful dog William.  He is still very much missed and always will be but I thought I would share a quick piccie of him so you can see him;

Anyway, onto brighter things and this months challenge;

Halloween and/or use your die cuts

I love Halloween but I don't have much call to make cards for it as it isn't that big here in the UK so I have given you the option to do Halloween if you love it or use your die cuts if you don't :)

Well hello everyone, I am finally back.  Thanks to everyone for their kind comments but sadly my beloved Irish setter,William, went to sleep on the 4th September and is now free of pain.  I won't maudle on here about it but will post on my own blog about him when I feel a little less raw.

Late September challenge

Hi everyone, I'm afraid the September challenge will be a few days late. My beloved dog is extremely poorly and I just can't get anything done due to having to sit with him for 24 hours at the moment.

Hi everyone - I am so sorry I haven't posted the winner and top three for the July challenge yet - I have had an awful month with me being unwell, a dash to the hospital in the ambulance with my husband in a diabetic coma, my dad in hospital and to top it all my gorgeous red setter is possibly facing a big operation too so this month just seems to have gotten away from me. 

 

So I will post the winner and top three on the 1st September when I post the new challenge.

I'll be back on the 1st and hopefully everything will have calmed down a little so I can take a breath.

August Challenge - Something floral

Hello everyone!!  Well welcome to August - where the heck is the year going????  I'm another year older now (I feel ten years older but never mind LOL) and it feels like we're rocketing towards the end of the year and I just daren't say the 'C'word!!!

 

Anyway, thanks to all who entered the July challenge and now we're on to the next one.  This month the challenge is;

July Challenge - Favourite embellishments

Hello everyone and welcome to July!!  I can't believe that half of the year has gone already - it won't be long and Christmas will be here LOL!!  How many of you have already got Christmas cards on the go?? I have to admit I have started a few as I know I'll need plenty to sell ;o)  Anyway, that's enough talk of Christmas when the sun is shining so brightly (or at least should be) and onto this months blog challenge.
